How long is the experience?
The Classic Charleston Experience lasts approximately 30 minutes. Thoughtfully designed to become a memorable part of your Charleston visit, it gives you time to slow down, explore together, and leave with beautiful photographs you'll enjoy for years to come.
Where do we meet?Your Session Guide includes the exact meeting location, nearby parking recommendations, and everything you'll need for the day.
The experience begins near the Rainbow Row area in historic downtown Charleston.
Is this a private experience?
Yes. Your Classic Charleston Experience is reserved exclusively for your group.
Can I book a specific photographer?
Charleston Photo Co. is designed to provide one consistent experience every time. While photographer requests can't be guaranteed, every photographer is trained to deliver the same Classic Charleston Experience you see throughout our website.
What happens if it rains?
If Charleston Photo Co. determines that weather conditions are unsuitable, your experience will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Is the experience accessible?
The experience includes walking through Charleston's historic district, including uneven sidewalks and cobblestone streets.
If anyone in your group has accessibility needs, please let us know before booking so we can discuss the best options.
Preparing for Your Experience
What should we wear?
Comfortable shoes are recommended since we'll be walking through Charleston's historic streets between portrait locations.
After booking, you'll receive our Session Guide with outfit recommendations to help you feel your best.
Can I change outfits?
We recommend arriving in one outfit.
Because the experience lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes walking between locations, outfit changes would take away from your photography time.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. Your photographer will guide you naturally throughout the experience, so there's no need to worry about knowing how to pose.
Can children participate?
Absolutely! The Classic Charleston Experience is designed for families, couples, friends, and visitors exploring Charleston together.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the experience. Simply let us know when booking so your photographer can plan accordingly.
Your Photographs
How many photographs will be in my gallery?
Within five business days, you'll receive a private online gallery filled with professionally edited portraits from your experience.
From there, you simply purchase the photographs you'd like to keep.
When will we receive our gallery?
Your private online gallery will be delivered within five business days of your experience.
Can we order prints?
Yes! Professional prints, framed artwork, albums, and keepsakes are available directly through your private online gallery.
Booking & Pricing
How much does it cost?
Your $99 Booking Fee reserves your photographer and your Classic Charleston Experience.
Digital photographs are purchased separately after gallery delivery, allowing you to purchase only the photographs you love.
Do I have to purchase a minimum number of photographs?
No. There is no minimum purchase requirement. You're free to purchase as many—or as few—photographs as you'd like.
Can we book for a proposal or special occasion?
Absolutely! The Classic Charleston Experience is perfect for engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons, family vacations, girls' trips, and celebrating your time in Charleston.
